About This Class

This half-day hybrid course combines classroom instruction with hands-on bench exercises so you leave with muscle memory, not just notes.

Classroom Portion (First 2 Hours)

We cover sizing math you can actually do in the field — no spreadsheets required. You'll learn to read a gas pressure chart, select the right regulator, and understand why delivery pressure complaints happen and how to diagnose them quickly.

Hands-On Portion (Second 2 Hours)

Working in small groups, attendees practice:

  • Performing a proper pressure test on a sample pipe assembly
  • Reading a manometer and identifying acceptable vs. failing pressure drop
  • Locating and identifying simulated leaks using detection solution and electronic sniffers
  • Documenting results on a field form

Who Benefits Most

If you've been running gas lines for years without formal training, this course fills the gaps that lead to callbacks. If you're new to gas work, it gives you the foundation to work safely and confidently.
